Would I date a porn star? Depends on his sincerity when it comes to courting me. Moreover, a few questions about life after porn would come up. If he's doing porn just b/c he doesn't aspire to do anything else than absolutely no. However if he is doing so to pay his way thru school to have a better career I can go with the flow.

I have met one in life, and was able to talk to him face to face. He's very handsome and left the porn industry to work as a firefighter. He seems like he could be a potential partner, but we have to talk about his views and perspectives on monogamy when it comes to a serious relationship.

 

I wouldn't date a porn star, but not because I'm judging him (trust me- I'm the LAST guy to shame anyone over porn). It has nothing to do with me being too good or even with him sleeping with a lot of people- I just feel that some people have made choices that don't work for me. I have a friend who dates a man who has 9 kids. I'm sure he's a good guy, and he seems to treat her fine, but that wouldn't work for me. Same goes for a guy who's closeted, has a face tattoo, or an extensive criminal record. Now, as friends or for hook-ups, that's different, because you're not building a life with someone. I just want to know that we have a chance of having a happy, successful life, and if someone's past made it likely that we would have significant problems (problems getting work, social problems stemming from dating a man who had sex on film, "groupie" problems, etc.), then I might have to bow out. That having been said, I know that some of MY choices/situations don't work for everyone (none I'm going into here LOL) and I have to accept that.

 

I think that some people, even some gay men, don't find gay porn interesting. What I get from some gay men and even bisexual men who don't watch gay porn is that they don't see men having sex ON CAMERA with other man sexually appealing. And I think that may be the same reason for @NickAuzenneNOLA, too.

As a gay man, I watch straight and gay porn (Gay Porn for the most part). I only watch straight porn, because I have no issues with a man fucking anything with a hole...lol. However, I tend to be very selective with straight porn, because I can't stand some of the females and that irritating fake porn moan. It's such a turn off. It's unrealistic and sets ridiculous ideas about what sex is.
