    I know there's a few veterans on the board, or those partnered with Vets. The only silver lining in a Trump Presidency will be the shameless pandering by Republicans and Fox News types to those of us who served. Despite the rhetoric, vets did ok under Obama. Trump says he's going to do better than Obama by vets, so I guess that means Trump is going to give us all Cadillacs, Oprah-style.

    Until then, here's all the places you can eat for free/discounted as a vet for November 11, 2016:

    There's no shame in my game. I doggy bag the hell out of six or seven restaurants each year. Last year, I had a freezer full of free hamburgers from every Red Robin in town.

    I appreciate that, but I'm more thankful for my fellow citizens; folks who raise kids despite straitened means, persevere, teach, try and start small businesses, stand up for their rights even the ones who differ with me. That means more to me. I'm just some dude who wore a uniform.
