I travel a lot. I actually have on my bucket list to travel to each state and visit each state capital and take a picture. But I digress...

What was the one place you visited and were completely surprised when you got there in a good way or a bad way? I have to say it was Savannah, Georgia for me. It was beautiful, charming, extremely walkable, friendly, and southern.

Savannah is not necessarily a place I want to move to but it is a place that I will visit often. I also went to Tybee Island and ate my self silly on all the classics of Southern Cuisine.

Beautiful pictures. I would have to say New Orleans because it is exactly like the way promoted. The cajun restaurants on every corner. The southern drawl. Mardi gras is real! Loved it- wouldn't move there. It's a little too fast paced for me.

Brussels & Amsterdam. Brussels for its beauty and Amsterdam was a bit of a let down for me. It's much more than the weed & red light districts it's famous for, but those two aspects seem to take over the city.

Lol, I'm exactly the opposite. I prefer Amsterdam to Brussels. Where I never have to go back to a Brussels, I'm definitely going back to Amsterdam.

The place I visit that surprised me the most was Seattle, WA. I didn't think I would like it because it rains so much there. But I actually liked it there. It's very green and beautiful outside the city. The city itself is very clean and "orderly" (for lack of a better term) as far as cities go. The people are much more friendly and laid back than back east. I didn't even mind the rain.

Copenhagen surprised me as being a beautiful, easy-to-navigate city filled with friendly people, awesome food, great bars, and fantastic views. It is very cold and dark in the winter, but has long, sunny, warm days in the summer.
