Kerry Rhodes, Former NFL player with Speculated Sexuality, Is Engaged to an Actress

Just for the record, @Ockydub and I never thought he was actually gay during all that messy gossip...which is why we never did a post or podcast claiming Kerry Rhodes as "family."

 

Just for the record...I think he is a closeted bi/homo dude.

 

I think many of the ballers athletes or bi or pan-sexual. I think they eventually see themselves having a wife/main girlfriend with kids but still have items on the side.; have cake and their ice-cream too. In Kerry's case after that "Hollywood" mess he was through with all the gays and just want to settle with a women. Also I think white women or more open to sexual fluidity. I dont think a sista would be as open.

 

I remember when this came out. I dont think this is one of those times when it's just " messy" gossip. But, dem queens and all of us gay black men should have been backing him either way. You can tell he obviously didn't care. But, maybe he is bisexual.

 

I remember the pictures from the time and thinking back on his photo companion, "Not interested in men" seems like a fitting truth.

 

I don't think he's gay. It's more likely that he's DL(bisexual). But whatever he is that's his business.

 

There isn't a question in mind that this guy isn't straight. I mean come on, even if ole dude that he messed around with made up most of the details of their relationship, just judging by the pics what 2 guys interact the way they were without there being anything sexual especially if one of the guys is known to be gay? It's definitely possible that he could have exaggerated some of the details or flat up lied, but the pics tell a much different story. I'm not buying it. And then not to mention the video of that reality tv show they were going to do, the way they interacted in the video was very suspect. I'm not saying he is gay, but I don't believe he is straight so maybe he is bisexual. And I'm curious to know if his fiance knows about the story. And it is possible that maybe he did come clean to only her about the situation and his attraction to men who knows. But if he didn't reveal anything and if he is attracted to men, then he is only causing himself more internal frustration and distress which can make life a little challenging for him. Obviously though it's none of our business, hopefully they have a good relationship.

 

Ummmm. Ive heard his name before. Is this the guy who took that gay boy out on a vaction or something and got exposed?

He may be bi-sexual though or he could be hetero-flexible. Pretty tough nut to crack unless you know what to look for.

 

I never once, and still don't believe(d) that lil minion abt he and kerry being in a relationship. Kerry can be bi/gay/dumb/broke for all we know, but he wasn't w that clown. I 100% believe that they were trying to ride that (abt to retire/handsome/ocho cinco) train to a reality show, and that messy queen was there because, well, don't all black reality shows require a messy black queen, contractually?

 

I always thought it was a little weird. Whatever his orientation, I don't think that they were ever in a relationship. If he cares that much about his image and all that, I do not think that he would have chosen that guy. Having him as an assistant is one thing, being in a full blown relationship, I doubt it.

 

So wait are you saying you don't think they fooled around? I don't know if they were in a relationship, but I do believe they were sexually involved.

 

I 100 percent don't think they fooled arnd. Cmon, if kerry was messy enough to fool w him, then there'd be some other messy queens coming out of the closet abt what they did w kerry.

This dude is a clown. End of story. Like i said, kerry can def possibly be a part of the team, like soo many others. And yes, he can come thru to bk n i'd gladly take him on a date, but that queen was a clown, man. Here's the deal. Personally, I don't get into, "Gurl, that Queen is gay and in denial" (Insert Black Woman On A Reality Show Gif Here) nonsense that seems to going on in this thread. I could literally copy-and-paste many of these comments and post them on Bossip and Mediatakeout.

Kerry Rhodes gives me no gay-vibe at all.

If even after that messiness, the dude says he's straight, I'mma take the man at his word. His fiance is taking his word for it and she knows him far better than any of us. Shit, it's really none of my business anyway.

Just because many of us have lied about being straight at one point, that doesn't mean that ALL black men are lying when accused.

Here are the facts:

1) Kerry was NEVER seen kissing or lying in bed naked with that feminine dude. None of those photos were nudes or even secret snaps, they were photos taken by a third person (Kerry said they ALL were taken during a single vacation with his entire business team, not over years during a "secret" relationship).

2) If Kerry Rhodes (supposedly paranoid and on the Down Low as you guys claim) was BOLD enough to date or even be seen and snapped out in public with a openly gay flamboyantly fem dude (who was even ONE OF HIS PAID ASSISTANTS), why wouldn't he be comfortable enough to say he's at least bisexual when "Outed?"

3) He had already been released from the Cardinals at that point. Since then he has said he has no desire to play again, so why continue the ruse? Why not just be sexually vague like Frank Ocean and Jussie Smollet?

4) Rhodes has said that he's straight, no ifs ands or buts...but he's also never attacked gays or even feminine men since then, even after dealing with a messy situation. So instead of giving him props for never diving into the homophobic muck, we join the choir in saying, "I wish that Gurl would finally just come on out and live in his truth." (Insert Black Woman On A Reality Show Gif Here)

My point with all this is, true there are many reasons why a black man in this country would choose to remain in the closet. But in this situation, I choose not to join the homophobes in gossip comments sections on blogs and to instead go with what the black man "accused" of being gay has said and done.

 

For the record I've never had sex with Kerry Rhodes so I can't say he's gay or straight....I can say gay men get married all the time and come out as gay later in life.

 

If anyone out there is judging Kerry's sexuality based off of that rodent, then they play too much. Not to mention, w the intimacy (intimacy, not sexuality, very different) displayed between them in all of those (reality show propaganda) pics, if there was romance involved, there's NO/ZIP/ZERO/ZILCH chance there wouldn't be a pic of them kissing in said rodents 'files'. No getting around that.

 

At the very least, he's been touched by another man. The millions of ass slaps he got during his tenure as a professional athlete makes me not even care about this story. Plus, MediaTakeOut is the WORST!
