    The below is an example of what not to do on social media if you consider yourself a mature masculine homosexual man...
    I follow many gay-lebrities on social media, not because we’re friends but because sometimes they will post articles to LGBT related topics that I may find useful for Cypher Avenue. As a follower of their feeds, I’m reminded by many that there are aspects of the LGBT culture not only do I not subscribe to but also don’t want to be a part of. Many of these PRIDE gay-lebrities are immature, catty and messy while attempting to fill their online spaces with "shade" and "tea sipping." What may be worse is their legion of followers who co-sign and champion their negative actions but continue to preach unity and “how the black LGBT community needs to come together.”

    I recall him slandering a pornstars name saying that they had or was the face of HIV and I believe it was XL when he was fairly new (if I'm not mistaken). I also came across other videos in the past of him exposing people but disclaiming that he's not that type of guy. But Walter's always been that messy queen he despises and he doesn't see it.

    It's sad because he knows that he has a following and that he can embarrass this man. Walter is way to old for that. But he IS an older fellow and many older people get so excited on what the internet brings, they do not realize the consequences that also come with what you portray. It's not an excuse for him by any means though.

    As Walter's age peer, I would agree that these actions are not becoming. I have often asked why some folk appear to be so entranced by social media. I don't mean to sound hypocritical (especially typing this on a message board myself) but I am amazed at what appears to be the lack of thoughtfulness on the part of some who engage the medium on a regular basis (celebrity, gay-lebrity, and "private" citizens). Many of us could do better...IMO

    I've had conversations with Walter a couple of times on FB. . I wouldn't post things like that on FB tho... I think the problem is, some people out here really believe that the amount of followers they have makes them a better person. . . Their followers are a big part of their daily satisfaction & ego stroking. . . They post messy things as such on Facebook because they don't have shit else to make them feel good. If someone gets me that mad, I just cut them off. No face book posts, no arguing back and forth over text, no more energy on my side.

    I wouldn't even do that at the age of 23. Age is nothing but a number, for some of us, it takes decades before we realize that we were learning the same lesson over and over again like a crazy person.
