I'm on the fence with this one. I think personally I would prefer to meet at a nicer spot than at a fast food joint lol. That's just me. Especially if this is our first date. I'm not saying it has to be real fancy, but something a little nicer than a fast food place. I may be a little uppity lol, hell I can't help it hahahaha.

 

Well I would be all for it. But we not gonna be spending all night in the Church's after we are done eating. Fast food joints don't really provide good spaces for conversation so we'd have to go to the park or a coffee spot afterwards.

Yep, exactly. If it's actually to 50/50 eat/talk, absolutely no problem with Carl's Jr. (though so admit, if I'm going low quality meetup, give me some White Castles lol). If it's to mostly talk to get to know, coffee shop (I'd prefer a private owned to Spendbucks, they tend to be more cozy), or even just a nice park bench.

 

I wouldnt even give a fawk. If a man wants to take me out and that's his choice, idc. All I wanna do is have fun, talk about interesting things and nibble on his ear. After a few more couple of dates and a little more time of bonding...I'll make sure he has plenty to eat...

Oh yeah.I feel like if things progressed, we'd be probably be doing things like this more often than we'd do anything relatively extravagant,so why not start off a little more casual/honest/realistic.

 

I love doing that.Like grabbing some Rally's then going somewhere with a nice view or where you can people watch.Lake Hico Park is my hangout spot anyway,so I can watch the lake.

I hate white castle! Had a guy's night w my boys a cpl years ago and that was the only place close, and still open. We were obviously wasted, and got, like, a 75 pack (no clue on the #, but thats what I feel in my spirit) and I haven't been back since. And, I live in walking distance!

 

Rally's!!!!! Best cheapo fast food and good fries-kind of like Popeye's fries. And good deals too. I did used to joke with my partner that the 'meat' was probably from abortions/tumors from hospitals and all though.

*Why does Popeye's have good fries and sides but the chicken and fish is scrawny and overbattered? I am spoiled by big fat juicy stuffed steroid KFC chicken! I don't want malnourished lean on food stamps eating at friend's houses chicken! The batter is good and spicy though-they just need their chicken and fish to have more chicken and fish! I want my chicken to have eaten better than I do!

For being from the city where White Castle originated, I hate Whites Castle burgers-those are of the devil.

For a casual first date fast food ok to eat(not to hang there though). If things go well, you can upgrade. If not, only five or ten bucks spent-but I will admit-if I really liked the guy and was all nervous before hand and all....no way would I do fast food first.

 

I am no stranger to going to Popeyes just for a large box of fries.

 

Hungry or not, I go into a Checkers anytime I see one. There's ALWAYS a '2 for' goin on. I eat one, and then there's a burger waiting for me when I wake up!

 

White Castle is a guilty indulgence I undertake maybe once every 2-3 months. Im always madd at myself afterwards, tho. LOL!!

 

I don't necessarily see a problem with it, although it seems a little hidden for a meet up. Maybe the Food Court at the mall is too public?

And moving to Chicago was no step up for me. A city that thinks an indigestible cheese casserole is "pizza" or that a polish donut is anything other than a donut (oh, I'm sorry, pinky up, it's a "paczki")

I'd be cooler with that than somewhere expensive when we may not even like one another by the end of the meeting. Really, if we're aiming for an easy, low-cost meetup, we can skip the fast food and meet at a park or sit by the river or something and just talk. The food isn't needed.

 

Uuuuuuuhhhhh.....no. In highschool, yes. College, sure. But not as a 29 year old man. Not the FIRST date at least.
