    While major details are still sparse, some new information has been revealed about social media star Branden Miller's upcoming scripted series on his alter-ego, Joanne the Scammer.

    The news was first revealed a few months ago.

    It is being produced by Super Deluxe along with Parks and Recreation writer and actor, Joe Mande.

    Now, according to Splitsider, comedian and Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Chelsea Peretti has also been tapped as a producer. Peretti is the wife of Jordan Peele.

    No network is attached as of yet.

    Back in July on Janet Mock's podcast, Miller said they were trying to do a "sitcom" with "Netflix folks." He explained, "I can’t even speak that far ahead because I don’t even know. All I know is we start off with her being married to this rich white older guy...or maybe he’s not even older. And he drops her, so she’s trying to get to that place again of being Caucasian – whatever she thinks that is. Instagram gives you one minute of that, the show will give you the whole storyline.”

    After the podcast dropped, PAPER Magazine had confirmed Super Deluxe and Mande were developing.

    How long before someone resurfaces the deleted explicit gay YouTube video blogs and amateur porn he used to do?

    I could have sworn they were already released. But thats not a bad thing in today's climate....now if you don't have a sex tape or nudes ready to be mistakenly "leaked", folk think something is wrong with you.

    Ture, and to be fair, the videos were not that bad...mostly just him jerking off his tiny pecker in various rooms of his adopted parents house...There was one blog video he did that I thought was good (this was LONG before he started wearing wigs), he talked about growing up gay while being adopted. Wish he hadn't taken that down, it was very revealing and relatable.

    Don't forget the video of him fucking himself with a dildo. I actually found that porn clip more entertaining than his entire Joanne the Scammer drag queen act. The whole gay dude dressing up like a woman is such a tired outdated shtick. It's not powerful, transgressive, or liberating I don't care what the queer culture mafia says.     I was going to say the same thing. It was funny when it wasn't so popular and now the 15 mins have passed. Even his tweets as Joanne use to go viral. Instead they should just do a little documentary about his life and how Joanne was created because his story is interesting. And yes they should include his porn stuff in the documentary too.

    To be honest, I haven't heard anything about Joanne the Scammer since the 2016 VMAs. I did not know that she was still a thing. Most likely would not watch a show based on this character.

    Theres actually a pretty interesting documentary called "Joanne The Scammer takes Britain" on SuperDeluxe's youtube channel. Shows a pretty subdued behind the scenes look at him as he travels to the UK and prepares for an appearance.
