My dude recently canceled his monthly clothing - loot - box - crate subscription because all the clothes he kept receiving were too small. Even though he requested XL or XXL, it seems the clothes (while fly) were made for Asian male bodies. Many advertisements make me want to subscribe. Like the one below. This yells masculinity and I want everything in the pic but realistically, a lot of this shit I don't need or already have and it would be a waste of money.....but I want it. Can one really have too many axes or hatchets?
This week I started a capsule wardrobe. I selected 50 items to wear for work, play, and leisure for the next 3 months. It's based off of Project 333 but 33 items was not realistic for me. 50 felt like it was limiting and providing a challenge with more options and more realistic and practical. I couldn't spend too much time deciding because I feel I would have been like "oh I NEED this" and would have went back and removed something else. But I'm OK with what I selected for this time. I'll probably write something here about it so I won't get too detailed here but my method was 1 pair of shoes counts as one item. Workout clothes are not included but I can ONLY wear those items to workout in. Not as an outfit. Drawz, undershirts, socks, glasses, sleepwear, and shades are not included in my list. I do have 1 outfit that's old clothes for if I'm asked to do any labor such as move or yard work. This is all in an effort to declutter and reduce the amount of stuff I have to move when I move and make things simple.
