I'm not thinking of this in the expected black-DL-gossip frame of reference, but as another piece of fuel in a long burning flame of the bonfire of indulgences that is organized religion, personality worship, and the psychology of true believers. The history of the Catholic Church, Jim Bakker and Tammy Faye, Jimmy Swaggart, Oral Roberts and the attack of the 100 foot Jesus, MLK Jr. and his bisexual orgies, Elijah Muhammad knocking up teen girls...hell just throw one more log in the fireplace...

A book everyone needs to read to understand how mofos like Eddie Long, Trump, Hitler, Jesus, Wall Street Brokers et al keep getting away with this shit (and why we let them)..


Don't know the nature of their settlement and any non disclosure agreements, but the dead usually have no claims against defamation under American law, so these young men can say what they want on the matter now...

 

Eddie Long was the perfect example of a con artist and a sexual predator. Then again I expect nothing less. I've come to view all so-called holy men as frauds. I for one won't miss Eddie Long. Too bad he didn't take Pat Robertson with him. I hope the young men he abused can find some peace and move on with their lives.
