To those of us who live in DC, perhaps the saddest comparison of how the US Capitol Police treat Black people and white people who might be a threat to the Capitol stretches back over 7 years. DC was transfixed by this car "chase" that ended in USCP murdering a mentally ill mother in her car. Her child was also in the car. No charges filed, by the way.
