Wassup guys. I’m 25 turning 26 in November. I’m currently exploring my sexuality lately trying to figure out what I want. I’ve been suppressing feelings so long and not living out what I am. Yo! What's going on fellas. Haven't been on this site in YEARS. Finally tired of FB, and other mainstream Social Media outlets. Saw and email from this site, and figured I'll use this as a replacement. You can call me Mell. I am 30 years of age. Recently relocated to Alabama from Florida with my partner ** cough (roommate) cough**. I am a laid back kind of dude. Love sports - mainly college football (Go Canes), game on my xbox1 every now and then, enjoy going out here and there, but mainly I am at home, if I am not at work. I an a VietNam era veteran, retired educator, Grandpa and I believe a good human being, I enjoy R & B and POP music the most but get something from all types of music. I'm not a vegetarian but like veggies more than meat. Enjoy sports watching especially B-ball and Football but not a die-hard fan of a particular team. I am quite political and and a die-hard Liberal Democrat. I am recently out of a relationship with a younger man that I thought was the real thing again. I've been with this family since the Discreet City days and it helped me figure out so many things about who I was at that time and ultimately the man I wanted to become. Random: Life is good but I do feel like I cannot connect with many students in my class at times. Many of them are in relationships (heterosexual) and I just do not find many things in common with them. Not like them being heterosexual has anything to do with it but we lack common interests. I do have some people that are like associates/"talk buddies" but no one I hang out with consistently. I am mostly a loner. I have met some black gay men out here that are very cool to see when I go to Pride Center Florida though.

I am new here, and I found this site by accident. I am glad that I did because not only is it entertaining, but it is informative as well. The article that caught my attention was the piece concerning the Black Panther, Huey Newton, who was not only a Civil Rights activist, but a Gay Rights activist as well at the same time as the Stonewall Uprising in which I was a participant 50 years ago. I was only 28 years old at the time. The late Dr. Newton has always been one of my greatest Icons.
