Bernie Burned Out West...

    ...but don't totally count him out just yet. He is still at a great disadvantage at this point, especially given HRC's crazy advantage with superdelegates, but he can still make a case for the strength of his candidacy. He only lost Nevada by five points when he was down by 20 and he won the Latino vote, he has collected more of the popular primary votes than Hilary so far and if he exceeds expectations in SC (i.e. doesn't do as bad with black folks), he could be well positioned for the first Super Tuesday on March 1. He can remain relevant for about two good weeks before the Bernie flame may start to burn out.

    His challenge remains spreading his message in the face of money and media disadvantages, and political elites who don't want him to be the nominee (and not for ideological reasons). Nevertheless, he's done well meeting this challenge up to this point, so that is why you can't totally rule him out just yet.
