    Imma save my obvious issues with this; however I will say, white gays will support this artist and his debauchery music and book him at their Pride events, etc. Supposed Black Pride organizers would, will, and still pass over other Black LGBT artists while sniffing down behind straight artist but still want to talk about UNITY.

    You broke the Internet for me today lol. But yeah, that pretty much describes the so-called Pride events and parade in my neck of the woods. It's just a bunch of twink clowns and minstrels like "Bottom Bytch" performing for non-lgbt who treat it like Mardi Gras. I just broke off a friendship today over that kind of nonsense. At this point, I've pretty much given up on finding friendships that involve the kind of cultural standards and lives lived by Langston Hughes, James Baldwin et al. While the pride minstrel show goes on, I'll be happily be out of town, wondering the desert like Caine in "Kung Fu"....
    That why I stay discreet. Not because I'm ashamed of what I am, but what I don't want to be associated or connected with.

    Well it was not nearly as bad as I expected actually. Bad yeah, but not as bad as expected.

    I have been to a number of Pride parades/marches/etc since the mid eighties, and I always kind of cringed when the 'really out there/half naked/extra and over the top crowd would be trying to attract as much attention as possible. The parade/festival here as gotten so large(up to 300,000) that the lunatic fringe is overshadowed by the corporate sponsorship and the flood of straight people and 'regular' gay people that attend. They are getting simply outnumbered now-fortunately.

    It is not only the guys though...when you have a large squad of women marching topless(legal for women to walk the public streets in Columbus topless btw) it can also be embarrassing.
