    I call foul on Allen Elliot...that muthafucka as skinny and already had a nice frame when he started but still props to him. I felt uncomfortable when looking at the Asian kat. I can't tell how old he is and I didn't want to have impure thoughts.

    Not everyone starts out severely overweight. Allen Elliot started looking like an average dude who is pretty fit but got bulked up and more chiseled. As for the Asian dude I think he made a pretty impressive transformation. I give him props on his physique. No impure thoughts on my end.

    C'mon man. You know as well as the rest of us that the better majority of gay men want someone with a nicely proportioned, to decently shaped, to muscular body. There are those that probably could care less one way or the other, but they are feeeeeeeeeeew and far between. That's just the reality of it, my man. We can nay say all day, but it don't change the situation.

    TRUE! Same thing I said...but to be honest, I only found his Facebook page (and that he was gay) because of his "after" pics...So if his whole life was centered around being gay and finding a boyfriend (like many other homosexuals) I can see how he might have been depressed and lonely b/c people in the "lifestyle" were not checking for him.

    I agree 100%. I'm just saying there was likely more to it than he couldn't get a man...he probably wanted a certain type of trendy man that wasn't checking for thick dudes like he used to be. Also, if you go to his page, there is a apparent level of narcissism that either grew out of low self esteem or was always there yet didn't match the outside package.

    Not saying all this to diss this young man, props to him on his hard work paying off and finding happiness.

    It's up to the perception of the other person(s). We see ourselves one way, but most of the world sees us another way. Unfortunately, a lot of times the way others see us causes anxiety, self esteem issues, and possible depression. So it boils down really to three options...
    1. [email protected]#k [email protected]@az and be the best you can be with what you got...
    2. Get up and get active and change your appearance, preferably for YOU, but for whatever reason you feel necessary...or
    3. Wallow in depression and loneliness.
    This is not directed to YOU, just general commentary.

    What workout or nutrition routine did you do before (AGR) System? What kind of results did you get?


    To be honest I followed the crowd as far as workout routines are concerned. I would go to the gym and do three sets of chest, three sets of legs, and maybe a set or two of shoulders or back followed by 45 minutes of cardio. At the time I weighted 240 and I was able to lose 15 pounds and walk around at 225. With the addition of adding squats to my routine I was able to lose another 5 pounds and drop down to 220. Unfortunately I was only able to maintain that weight for about six months before I started slowly packing on weight until I shot back to around 239-240 pounds.

    What was most appealing to you about this program?

    The fact the AGR focused on a leaner look and muscular symmetry while at the same time gaining strength and losing weight.

    Were the any concepts or approaches you were skeptical about?

    I was skeptical about counting my calories, the workout starting point categories, and the whole program. I had a hard time accepting what was different between bodybuilding.com and the Adonis Golden Ratio System.

    What was your experience going through the AT contest? Challenges that came up? Things you didn’t expect?

    The biggest challenge for me was building up my intensity without a workout partner. I often felt that I wasn’t improving my physique because of the non-workout partner limitation. So I often put on my head phones and turned the anger and frustration into a constant challenge and it seems as if I came out on top. I absolutely did not expect to be so tired after my workouts. They took everything out of me. I also did not expect to see my body transforming in front of my eyes.


    How did people react to your transformation?
    Positives and negatives (if any).

    A lot of negative comments came my way as far as “you are getting super skinny” (normally by people who were not in shape) “don’t fade away on me”, or even from body builders in my gym calling me “weak” or “too small”. On the other end, I also received some positive comments as far as “you look great” and even some “keep up the good work”.

    I read about the Adonis program a while back. I've been skeptical to really investigate it for myself.

    He was hot to me thick but definitely can't deny that Tricep development. He did that. Lost a little booty in the process tho . and his back is amazing!

    I'm seriously looking into The Wild Diet as I think I'm good on the workouts. It's really the food that gets me. Though I have gotten better with choices, I have to avoid triggers like Oreos (double stuft, vanilla and lemon. Those lemon ones are crack).
