This is pretty interesting from a psychological standpoint. I'de always wondered how/why all the white boys I was in the military with were so comfortable doing "Gay Sh!t" with each other but were, for all intents and purposes, straight.

 

I think men just like someone else to make them climax. It's more excitingly that way. I think some men clearly are ok with mutual jacking, frottage, wresting, humping. Oral is one-step deeper and anal deeper than that (giggidy).

Just like "gay while an inmate" or "lesbian until graduation." When there's an absence of the desired/preferred gender, people "make do" with what's available. I could see myself being intimate with women in the desert island scenario. Maybe cuddling and possibly kissing. I don't know if I would have sex with them though. That's not as important. It's just the intimacy. I think in places like prisons, there is a desire for intimacy amongst straight men, but a lot of the time, the sex part is simply about power.

 

It makes me seem really f@#ked up, dude but, I honestly couldn't even been intimate/ cuddly with them (desert island girls). I admittedly have severe intimacy issues with both sexes to an extent, but with women its much worse. I have female friends that like to sometimes hold onto my arm when we're walkin' down the sidewalk and dude, I feel so awkward, and weird, and uncomfortable. I didn't grow up in an environment where people expressed themselves like so. smh But that's a topic for another thread, but in this case...nah! We can chit chat and vent for maybe the first 2 days, but after that they need to distance themselves. #1. I don't want no chick watchin' me J/O and getin no ideas, and #2, with no proper bathing/refreshing utilities they would start stankin' after 2-3 days and I don't do well with bad smells. LOL

I have from time to time. But only in the "ok, I'ma get up outta here, gimme a hug" type sense, and even then it always feels awkward. But I'm the same with dudes, so...go figure. LOL

 

Let me clarify, I wouldn't be like "ooooohhhh sh!+ let's get it in!" We would have to be on that island for quite a while... Like years! And I'd have to lose all hope and recover from that depression before I'd be thirsty enough.

Plus, Ian tryna have no kids on a desert island. I'd be like

Well, I've done quite well w/out sexual contact for 2yrs now, so being on an island of choch' wouldn't be an issue for me in that aspect. No amount of "thirst" in the world, dude. LOL

 

I honestly wouldn't mind havin' a "Bromance" with a straight dude. LOL I have intimacy issues with other men, but they're more easily overcome than with chicks. I'de like to have a dude to be close/cuddly with but not have to worry about full blown diggin'. I've come close a few times in the military but not like "gay sh!t". Most definitely, in that scenario intimacy would be most important for me as well. Even as a gay man one of my favorite past times is laying on some titties. I LOVE it lol. I do agree with the article to a certain point. There is a point in a person's life where they go through exploration and curiosity. It's just that not all people go through it in their teens or early 20s; sometimes it happens later in life.

 

Me on an island with a bunch of women is like a scene from Jurassic Park or a Twilight Zone episode of Gilligan's Island, especially when they are on their periods. I tend to encounter this a lot, being a bisexual guy that often attracts other bisexual, DL men, or guys who identify like the guys mentioned in the article. Hell, even my own initial attraction to men was purely physical and only to get a nut. I have a general fascination with seeing people aroused, so with guys, it was all about looking at another man stroke his ego and seeing it explode. I was detached from feelings toward a guy, and even then, didn't really think of myself as gay or bi. (I was only jacking off when I first started out.)
