    Lol yeah I probably watch too because Egyptian mythology is interesting but, really?? They couldn't put a single black, or Middle Eastern person to fill the lead or supporting?? Soo many qualified people out there and why try to make the gods more like the Greeks, y'all not fooling anyone. This kind of thing upsets me...

    They wont admit it, but its really just a numbers game. White ppl aren't gonna go see a movie full of people of color thats not specific to the 'blk experience', and we all know how blk ppl historically 'support' projects.

    White people think when Black people are in the movie, it's a black movie not meant for all to enjoy. Meanwhile we support PW castings all the time. And white folks lose their shit when they feel a white person should be in particular roles... Hunger Games, storm trooper, Bond etc.

    I'm with @Michael I'll definitely download it illegally because that kinda stuff is interesting to me (even though it looks really cheesy, but I love that lol). I can almost guarantee it will flop at the box office, and I'm sure the hashtags and think pieces to boycott it will ensue, as it should. However, once it flops, the connection still won't be made cause white's gonna white.

    I for one won't be watching this trash. Both ancient Egypt(Kemet) and Nubia, which is now called Sudan were black civilizations I won't support white people trying to pass this off as their history.
