I started a new job a few months ago and I'm pretty cool with people even though I stay to myself. My "Gaydar" is not very reliable but a couple of people I suspect. Certain things keep happening or I notice that makes me question some of these people for example one guy we were working together and I happen to noticed he was wearing Andrew Christian briefs and my first thought was isn't that a brand gay bi guys like? I don't wear those sidebar. Then out of nowhere he started giving me a nickname shortening my name. So curiousity got the best of me and I found him on social media. Checked out his profile and there are a mixed batch and some guys I believe dabble couples. Photos alone and the infamous just gender but no interest stated. I checked out some other coworkers and they have pretty much the same crap. Lastly this person has some mannerisms that are unique but that's not the smoking gun. Just to get the conversation going what do you guys think out there about this and how would you find out for sure?
Andrew Christian, while not a complete indication of liking dudes, it's suspect. I mean, Even parts of their website is NSFW. I would say red flag. My question is, if they are gay, how is that going to affect you?
Where I work at there are a variety of people. If he is the nit would be cool that I could have a like minded friend. I don't hang around gay guys at all. It's different she. You have someone that relates to you. There are gay guys at work but they are out and femme. I'm not out at all but I treat everyone that's not an ass with human diginity and respect.
Yeah the AC thing would have made me reeeeal suspicious, but like you my gaydar is off. Just today a (cute) waiter I had was giving some serious eye contact but I seem to think that about a lot of guys lately honestly I'm terrible at this lol!
That's cool. But I wouldn't expect things to be buddy buddy but it's cool to have a person to relate to at work. While all of the men in my department are straight, I'm OK with them but I don't tell people my business at work anyway. I am a fan of compartmentalization and don't tell anyone anything another my home life. Work is work.
Andrew Christian underwear is definitely red flag. They are marketed toward same-sex attracted men. They're designed to show off the male body. So I'd definitely think a guy who wears them are either gay or bisexual.
I was gonna say the exact same thing, bro. If it's not something thats going to directly affect one's life, then it's not important.
