    "Was there a single person of color in that preview? I *think I saw one, maybe? It is post earth, right? Did any survive? Anyone? (I read the books - at least 10 of them and I thought there were people of color but maybe that was my own imagination). Bummer. It’s such a bummer that only white people get to be in these movies about FAKE stuff that can just as well be any type of person. It’s distressing and just a little thing white people (generalizing here) never have to think about before watching a preview: will there be black/brown/Asian, etc people!?     I think it's why I love the Mass Effect game series because there's diversity across the main cast. It's harder to appreciate Sci Fi future movies and TV when you see they clearly were not checking to see if POC are involved.
