    Anyone who's visited Myvidster has probably seen one of City Boi's videos. His legal name was James Cook-Jackson.

    He was also known for his real life long term relationship with fellow performer Jovonnie.

    The had long since split but remained friends. According to final posts made by James' on his Facebook page, he had unceremoniously moved back to Detroit to be with family...he also appeared to have lost a lot of weight, even for an already very slim guy in the past.

    Jovonnie is the one who broke the news on Twitter.

    From what his friends and family are saying, James was a VERY friendly and fun-loving guy.

    I don't yet know for sure how this young man died, but this is yet another wake up call for us all to take care of our medical, physical and mental health. No matter what age you are.

    We also need to encourage younger men in the teens and twenties. Encourage and inform there of places they can go to get tested, and treated, if neccessary. We have to start being out brother's keeper.. as much as we can.
