    This man was my day one serious obsession/crush in my late teen years. I am now 41 and Larenz Tate still remains my ideal perfection of the type of dude I am crazy for. Probably even more now that he's older and I only deal with dudes from my generation or older.

    Now this is from his personality on screen as well as his interviews. Privately dude could be a psychopath, but I dont get that impression. lol.

    This man 100% embodies my dream dude -

    • Attractive, handsome, and also can be cute while being sexy. (not easy to be able to pull off all of those)
    • Fit natural body
    • Personality is CRAZY (can be funny, serious, intellectual, charming, and engaging with you)
    • Career is on point and open to establishing even bigger things.

    I can probably go on and on, but Im sure you've guessed by now I am crazy for this dude. Why the fuck cant they make gay men like this? (or at least the ones I've encountered)

    Since this is a fan boy thread, I'll tell this story:

    Had the privilege of being backstage at some event years ago...as I was watching someone being interviewed, Larenz walked up and stood RIGHT NEXT TO ME, watching the same interview.

    When people describe having a loss for words, I never knew what they meant until that moment. Maybe it was because I also had a crush since back in the day, but I just froze......

    He looked both handsome and "clean" ...as in, everything about him was well manicured: hairline was crispy, skin clear, facial hair freshly trimmed, outfit was stylish and fit like a glove, etc.

    Best thing about seeing him was he's short AF. I stand at 6'2" so when this little 5'6-5'7" dude stood next to me, at first I didn't know who he was...I just noticed someone had moved into my personal space, then I noticed he was handsome, then I thought he looked familiar, then I recognized him...

    I looked down at him watching the interview and he was all like:

    ....then I froze up.

    Didn't even dap him up, didn't say I liked his work, didn't make any kind of small talk that I would normally do...I was too shook...

    Also, it was a backstage situation. I was there working...So I was trying to blend in as a professional and not look like a groupie around celebs.

    In hindsight, he's not all that to be intimidated, but in the moment I just froze up. Kinda regret not at least shaking his hand, especially since it was the perfect opportunity (wasn't a crowd of people around, we were far enough to be able to talk and not interrupt the interview taking place, etc).

    That scene of him having sex with the chick was so wack.
