Local Talent

One of my favorite (if not absolute favorite) ways to spend a weekend is to go out and absorb the art and culture in my own city. Finding new artists is really special for me.Being present for a festival,or some intimate show of an unknown ,but exquisite band is an awesome experience.

So I'm going to showcase of of my favorite discoveries and invite you all to do the same with talent from your area.

This guy is so much fun.He gives off major energy in every single performance,no matter the size of the crowd or venue.Plus he genre hops/blends,which I love,because I listen to most genres and enjoy aspects of each.He's also great about showcasing the musicians with him.


Kerry Thomas


People call him Tony Terry because he has red hair,but really he gives off more of a John Legend vibe.He plays a guitar,which earns major points with me.He even had a bit part in the James Brown movie Get on Up.
