Nicki Minaj says "Fuk You Gays and Orlando?

I wouldn't trust any thing that the indsutryonblast_ post. But Its wired she did not post anything since she has such a large gay fan base. Should of just said something short and sweet. Beyonce posted a picture and condolences or something like that. I wonder if her pr ppl are not doing their job or if she fired them.

 

Yeah but it was prob hired staff/intern acting on her behalf. I also dont trust gossip sites who are the business of fueling drama for clicks n cashas legit news sources. Until she puts out an official statement on it we don't know what she is thinking. Im also trying to giver her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe shes locked away in a studio with limited communication. I mean I don't think that she would be that mean and petty against Gays who are her most supportive fans and one of the deadliest shootings in us history.

 

There's a lot of black celebs that did including TD Jakes, Lebron James, Calvin Johnson, Andra Day, James Harden, Dwade, Shaq, Kirk Franklin, and Usher. Its weird that some of the top ones haven't said anything though (Chris brown, Rhianna, Kanye West, Drake). Like their all busy promoting stuff.

None of my faves came out to to say anything, not even a sad face emoji.
I am not saying some do not want to connect with their Gay fans, I am sure some do, however they would be quiet about it. I do not know why and in their silence/in action they have let you know where they stand. The rest is up to you.
Also we already know where TD Jakes stands on LGBT issues. He and Marc Lamont Hill, have discussed LGBT and the church MANY TIMES on HuffPost Live.

We have to stop thinking that anyone in the entertainment industry either as someone who has a career in it or is just a celebrity is obligated to advocate or say something to anything. We just have to stop.

 

I think the anger may be more directed to those celebs who have very large gay bases like some of these divas who will take gay dollars, support, etc. but then say nothing of support for gays, even when something like this happens. I would not expect something from just any celeb, but for the ones who have huge numbers of gay fans/stans????-these types do not have to say anything, but they also can't say anything when/if the gays wake up and call them out or say 'fuck you' either.

 

Not worried about room-temperature IQ celebrity reaction as much because I don't have to face them in person like real, ig'nant negroes. She wasn't a celebrity, but this black church heifer at the Public Library had an attitude because I was returning a Mapplethorpe book (it was overdue). The situation was like that fat black female bus driver in @ColumbusGuy 's town who tried to throw a young, gay man off the bus for SITTING AND BREATHING. That library beyotch was this close, THIS CLOSE to catching the business end of my Jackie Gleason impersonation ("STRAIGHT TO MOON, HO!!").

In the past week, many people have made many statements condemning the attack on our community at Pulse. That is heartening. But as this discussion points out, when something like this happens, we are still largely on our own.

 

What annoys me about Nicki Minaj too is she may have been a practicing lesbiana back in the day AND she capitalized and built her career off alluding to being bisexual but now you wanna "believe what the Bible says?"

Most Black Celebrities DO NOT address it as an attack on Gay people but use this safe blanket as Attack on Humans, People or a stand on Gun control, only Queen Latifa, Kid Cudi, and Aisha Tyler have use Gay/LGBT in their response on it.

 

Go figure. She knows that all of these queens are still gonna support her drag shows. A lot of the gays just reeeeally wana be women, and live vicariously through them, regardless of the way so many of their 'divas' view them.
