Manufacturing is mostly a dead end. High end economies go after biotech, high end manufacturing-those jobs are limited and are increasinly robotic in nature. We are never going to get manufacturing on a big scale back-only specialized-we need training programs. And producing here and raising the minimum wage will all go into product costs and it will be way more than a few cents on a Bic Mac!

Some times I cant believe that when I started my 1st job as a teen I made only 5 dollars and a quarter an hour. For some adults it was one of their main sources of income and they had kids smh. I dont even know how they made it.
