I'm so glad Marvel gave Mackie work as my favorite black superhero 'cause She Hate Me was absolutely bottom of the barrel Spike Lee.

I loved Mackie in Brother to Brother. They kind of mixed fiction with the life and events of real-life black gay NYC writer Richard Bruce Nugent
    Richard Bruce Nugent - Wikipedia
He was part of the group that put together the infamous one-issue FIRE!! literary anthology along with Zora Neale Hurston, Langston Hughes, and Countee Cullen. The NAACP and bougie negroes condemned the Harlem writers because FIRE!! was decades ahead of black folk on gay aesthetics in the stories, art, and poems included (it was published in the 1920s). I liked that the makers of Brother to Brother brought that forgotten history to a broader audience.

    Brother to Brother

I mean it's an okay movie. If you haven't seen it check it out. But to me it was kinda flat and sour.

I mean it's good history on LGBT history and the Harlem Renaissance.

I don't know, I just felt like it was a bunch of movies jumbled into one story. But still check it out.

    Beautiful Thing

It's an alright movie and I quite like it. Some people might have issues understanding their accents as they speak in kinda an urban street British accent. But it's a nice movie.

    Boy Culture

It's an okay movie. If you haven't seen it, watch it.
