    I personally try to improve my behavior (thoughts,habits) as soon as I see the need for correction,but this year that need arose at New Years for me.So what I'm asking is,did anyone make any new years resolutions and do you feel like you've lived up to them.

    People like to hate on the concept of New Year's Resolutions and I myself don't like making any simply because its hard to keep them unless you're serious about it, and even then its hard. I'll make the same or similar goals every year and never live up to them lol. I'm kinda like you though, some stuff that has come to my attenion as we reach the year's end.

    Well,I wasn't going to make anyone tell what it was,but for me it was not letting negative thoughts hold me back and being distracted.

    I just feel like why not start now.The New Year wont make things any different .If you know you have a problem start making progress immediately.

    There's nothing wrong with that, it just depends on the goal you have I guess...sometimes when I just jump into doing something it ends poorly due to lack of plans and direction, no motivation. A new year kinda adds a little amount of extra motivation to start things fresh so it works for some people.

    - I'm ready to "downgrade" jobs. I'm 23 and I've never worked at retail or fast food so that's something I want to say I at least experienced before going into something more prestige, you know? I'm weird like that but I want to leave my current job as a teaching artist by Fall 2016. :(

    - I want to date monogamously and not do the bullshit that I've been doing this year. My first time getting out there in the dating scene and I've gotten myself into a mess. The next one is going to be a better pick!

    I just want to hit the restart button on those two even if I might regret leaving my job.

    Your current job sounds interesting.What if you try one of the others part time and keep the one you have now? That way you can get wet without going head first into the deep end.

    I'm not sure if I can manage school, work and another part-time job. But that's something to think about.
    I work part-time at an after school program but I've gotten so attached to this senior block that I've been working with since they were freshman's and I'm thinking about leaving once they graduate. I'm losing my motivation.

    I was having that issue at the top of this year too.Sounds like you need to find something that will challenge you in some way.

    Didn't make any resolutions for 2015 because I figured I would fail. haha. I am, however, ready to hit the restart button and move into 2016. Learn how to get out of my own way, be more GENUINELY grateful and make better financial decisions.
