    Well I'm not really a newbie. I've been reading the site since the Discreet City days. I don't really remember how I came across the site though. It seems like it was so long ago. I was just King Lurker back then though. But now that we have the Boards, I am "delivert"!

    Just wondering, how'd you guys end up here?

    For me, I was reading another blog (can't remember which one) and they did a response article calling DC out for something or another. They mentioned something abt them 'claiming to be' masc, so I was like, 'leme see if these mofos are REALLY masc gay dudes. Well I was pleasantly surprised, and Ive been rocking w these fools ever since.

    I think I saw CA referenced way down in a random YouTube commentary. I'm always on the lookout for real nonbullshit podcasts, so I did a "dogcatcher" search and it came up,
    I thought "Cypher Avenue, I like the sound of that" and downloaded one to sample.......it was like a breath of fresh air, no overcompensate for being gay, just guys being guys, talking like guys, made me an instant convert to CA (the sexy voices don't hurt neither # Nick Delmacy ) and the subject matter has always been on point. I found they even ....gasp....applied logic to their thoughts, and criticisms, and were even willing consider their own responses critically....a thoughtful approach that taken altogether is extremely rare in any venue and virtually unheard of in any other gay space.

    I was in grad school a few years ago working on a paper, had an A-DD moment and did a Google search. At the time, I was in that lonely space black grad students find themselves in sometimes, and was seeking out an online community of sorts. Google directed me to CA and I've been here since.
