South Koreans Reveal What They Really Think of Black People

I like this. As someone who likes to know how people in other cultures think about me, a black man, this video has been enlightening.

 

This is actually not new. I saw this video months ago. That said it's not a secret Koreans and Asians in general have a negative view of black people. Anti-black racism is one of America's biggest exports. Everyone around the world is familiar with American culture and racism big part of that culture. Think about the disrespect most Asians immigrants show black Americans on a daily basis. This shouldn't be shocking to anyone if you're paying attention.

 

The reality is that the Chinese Nationals are the real "anchor baby" generators, not Trump's proverbial Mexicans. They work the immigration system like no one else.

I remember when I was getting my degrees yeh, I went to both Japan and Korea & it really opened my eyes to how anti-Blackness is spread throughout the world; even in my own African culture there is anti-Blackness. Literally every culture and language of the world has a negative, derogatory term for Black people. I'm not going to label my entire experience as terrible but there were moments (from noticing how my white peers were taken more seriously than I was to even the unwarranted touches of my hair (well, most of them were like kindergarten kids so I'ma let that one slide yeh but there was slick some older folk that should have known better even if they weren't used to seeing a long haired, Black man) where I questioned whether I wanted to continue with my schooling that would have me constantly in these two countries.
