The Government Should Keep Its Hands Off My Penis!

I am fuming and feel like I can join forces with the Tea Party right now. They don't want the government's hands in anything. A long-time student of government and former government employee, I recognize that government has a very important purpose and role in our lives. But, I would have to concur, that there are times where government oversteps its bounds, and needs to be checked by its citizens. Sad to say, government overreached has reached new low...LITERALLY, too low and not only violated my privacy, but my PRIVATES!

I travel and fly quite frequently, and unfortunately, always have to get pulled aside for extra screening. I suffered a blood clot more than ten years ago that required something called an IVC filter. It's a metal, cocktail umbrella-looking device that would diffuse the clot and prevent it from traveling to the lungs. It's located above my waist, below my navel.

I am patient and patriotic, so usually have no problem with TSA doing their jobs and patting me down. They are typically brief, relatively superficial, and I never walk away feeling violated. Only one time, did I feel they were excessive and was upset about it because I missed a flight as a result. This time was different though. And even if I was offered a private screening, I would still feel the same as I do now.

The TSA did a whole lot and explained it all. I nodded and was like, ok, I know, can you get on with it. I knew I had to have my legs grabbed, waist checked, and he said something about the groin, but nothing about my penis. A TSA rub his hand across my penis not once, not even twice. FOUR times. FOUR times. What was there, should have been there, and nothing else. After the first time, I get it...you wanted to make sure you felt what you felt, but damn...the third and fourth time?

The experience was bad enough that my demeanor completely changed, I had become visibly angry and questioned the agent. He responded that it was a new protocol they had to follow. Really?

My penis is not a threat to national security. I'm telling my congressman and senator...the government needs to keep its hands off my penis!

Lol. Bruh woulda had to have been a god for me to not to have been upset. Mr. TSA wasn't even close. Some tall, frumpy-lookin white guy.

 

I'm actually gonna work on it, probably add a bit more hyperbole, and send it to a few papers. But I definitely am sending this to my congressman and senators.
