    Just curious, has anyone seen these movie and if so what were your thoughts? I thought it was a really good bad movie. I wanted to jump on Black Phillip's back and laugh.

    That's a great analogy, and that's what bothers me. Horror is one of my favorite genres, and I had such high hopes for this movie (which I tried to temper because I couldn't tell you the last time I saw a scary movie I enjoyed.)

    My problem with this movie is that it had so much potential, which is more annoying than it just being bad. It started getting really good toward the end. I wish they could've/would've fleshed that out more and cut some of the filler from the beginning. The ending almost left room for a sequel, but I don't know if it did well enough numbers for that to be a possibility.

    *Sidenote* The girl twin was great comic relief

    I agree...this was so not a horror film even though IMO it was promoted as such. Also I thought the acting was pretty good. The little boy when he was possessed and his "speech" right before he died...props. But what happened to the twins?

    Yea, I agree. I like suspense movies too, maybe even a bit more. I agree, the acting was good. I believed everyone, I just wanted more to happen, or if more wasn't going to happen, make the "silence" more tension filled. That's what I appreciated about Paranormal Activity, even though nothing was going on, the silence was so tense.

    The twins died in that same scene.

    See that is the only thing that is/was confusing for me. I don't remember seeing the bodies AND weren't they able to communicate with the real star of the movie...Black Phillip?

    After that whole prayer thing they started foaming at the mouth and just...died. They were lying in that room. I think Black Phillip was just toying with them to get to the girl. I think she was the target all along so he was ruining her family so she'd have a reason to join his...coven?

    no no remember they were in the lil barn - the twins, Becky long stockings and Phillipe Negro...the witch came in and they all started screaming...you never saw Hanzel and Gretal after that.

    You will like it...but that doesn't mean it was a "good" movie. The acting really is on point though.

    this movie made me so mad...i know 30mins in what kind of movie it would turn out to be...no type of ending. bad part was i pick this movie to have a date night with my "new friend". best part of this whole movie was Black Phillip
