    I haven't seen this whol eplay yet, since I just heard about it today. Apparently NBC aired a live version of "The Wiz" with an all star cast. This shit is pretty awesome (from what Ive seen). Ne-Yo did a great job. I love his take on this song, my favorite song off the original movie...

    I believe that it's on Netflix as well but only until the 12th. I haven't yet seen it either. Yes, he does sound great. I usually don't like remakes-but very good.

    Yeah they were advertising it everywhere they were even in the Macy's day parade. I didn't thinking it was going to be that great but was surprised. It was an overall put together play. It was really great to see black actors do something of such great quality.

    Go figure, I work at Macys and still didnt know. smh I've never care for the parade so, no wonder I didnt know. Whatever, it still looks pretty kool.

    I've never seen the original Wiz *takes out black card and tosses it*, but i thoroughly enjoyed this. Ne-Yo was great, and so was Mary J....How about that Emerald City? Lol

    ya i saw it the night it aired. i feel like it was well put together the costume designs and the stage designs were on point. great cast of actors and all had nice voices. also like how they remix the old music but i do like the movie better not taking from this play cuz it was great but i enjoyed the cast well most of the cast from the older movie i never saw the original play tho

    I really enjoyed the live broadcast. I actually hated the movie so was only watching this to support black people on Network TV but they blew me away. And that Emerald City definitely proved my gayness beyond a shadow of a doubt (and I'm not even into the Ball scene.) I'll be getting it on DVD.
