    I like the options in the poll.

    I would like more diversity not only in ethnicity but in opinions but IMO the majority of gay folks are way to PC, sensitive and have bought into mainstream white gay POV and ideals.

    I thought the $50.00 contribution was a nice touch. I had other options in mind but thought better of it lol (PC-ness is ingrained in us. It is just for fun, and I predict(if people play along) that 'stupid poll' shall be the winner. I am bored and my plans were changed...:yeshrug:

    Black people have never had a problem welcoming others into our homes. Just like anyone you welcome into your home, you always expect that they are mindful that, as welcoming as we are, this ain't yo house. Get yo feet off my table, no you can't rearrange my furniture, and no, I don't need a house-sitter. A certain group of people, in particular, have a way of taking advantage of warm welcomes, and before you know it, they will claim houses they didn't even build (or buy) as theirs. (Reference: Historic European colonization around the world.)

    As far as the site, I have no opinion whatsoever. Nick's and Octavius's house, their rules, whatever they choose their rules to be.

    As far as the idea of black conversation in a public space, I fear no man or woman so I've never felt the need to code-switch in discussing black issues amongst mixed company; even on the job, much to the consternation of white liberal co-workers who just assume I'm supposed to rubber stamp their pronouncements as a black male ('cause, you know, I'm not supposed to hold an opinion unless Democrats and white liberal elites sanction it). On the Internet, you never know who's who unless you eventually meet or talk in person, so you can't assume ethnicity from comments and profiles, anyway.

    Well unless someone either explicitly states it your it comes up in internet conversation. Or posts pictures or videos of themselves on same internet. Plus there is facetime/skype etc. Especially on a site where race is a big part of the site (like this one).

    One of the reasons I like this site is that I hardly have to mansplain anything to you gents because you generally get it. I feel like if white people or more mainlined gay men joined the site it could potentially lose a bit of its appeal. With that being said, I genuinely enjoy the free exchange of ideas and opinions. I certainly think white people in particular would bring some interesting perspectives and would more likely share the site publically would could grow the community even more than it is growing now. I do like the $50.00 membership fee. Lets us know you serious!!

    LOL. Yes. This is an open-sourced internet site. I don't think there are vast numbers of white people who frequent this site which is what I was suggesting. Nor do I think there is a robust white guy comment section.
