This is my first attempt at being active in forum so this will be fun. Didn't want to be a lurker!

I'm 23, born and raised in Atlanta, GA also going to school here for Graphic Design. My interests include video games, anime, art photography, technology, cooking, reading,and general nerd fandoms like Star Wars etc. but I'm open to developing new interests! And something funny/slash exciting about today is that it's actually my Birthday!

I also want to thank the creators of this forum and cypher for creating this place for guys who are gay but don't really care for the typical stuff you see on most sites. (Not that is bad or anything, I'm just not that interested) I'm still trying to come into my own and hopefully this can be a place where I can find some like minded people to share things with for a change!

A little about me: Hatched in Paris FR. German father. Argentine mother. At the tender age of 9, I was forced to move to the states cuz dad accepted a professorship in economics at the University of Chicago.

My parents were very eccentric. Consequently, I was exposed to all sorts of interesting people of all shapes, sizes, colors and cultures. One of the most important principles they instilled in me is the simple truth that love is colorblind.

But to hear my friends tell it, I'm totally dysfunctional 'cause I happen to still friends with both of my Ex's. I co-own a small, financial services company that currently employs 10 people. On most days, I work out of my home office, so my work attire is a pair of cut-off sweatpants, a old t-shirt and my bunny slippers. It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it....

Seattle's cool city. Very up-and-coming and a lot of growth and people moving here of highly skilled jobs in Tech and other fields. I would say it could pass for a mini-san fransisco but Seattle is still finding its identity and will be very different 5 years from now.

Good:
* Jobs and lots of them( very well paying too)
*weather's nice if you don't mind drizzle and overcast for 8 out 12 months in a year.
*lots of things to do outdoors, indoors you name it
*Big City with small-city components. Everyone can find their niche
* No "bad sides" of cities. If you come here and people tell you where the "ghetto" sides of the cities are you'll laugh their asses off if you've been to Chicago, Detroit, NYC,...
I've learned to deduct that "ghetto" for white liberal progressives is code for minority neighborhoods regardless of their socioeconomic standings.

Bad:
* Rent is too damn high
*Traffic! Ugh
* few black people(about 5-6%, 10% or more if you go south in Renton/Kent/Auburn suburbs where I live . Black gays are mostly snow queens, mostly into latinos and white people. BYOB(Bring Your Own Bae).
This has several implications including : dating pool is hella small, black culture is very niche and hard to find.


Otherwise it ain't bad of a city at all. Let me know when you're in town, I can show you around.

Hi Guys. My name is Michael AKA Sage. Born and raised in Long Beach, CA. Approaching 43 years of age with a quickness and doing my best to co-exist with the white hairs that insist upon attacking my face. I founded and have run a business consulting firm since 2001. I'm certain that I work too much, but the virtues of balance are giving me back my sanity. Still, hard work is the cost of ambition and financial independence during my later years.

Tastes in music and men are pretty eclectic. Musical interests range from Maze featuring Frankie Beverly to Amy Winehouse to John Coltrane to Janelle Monae to 50 Cent to Patti Labelle to Tchaikovsky. Currently writing four different books. One book is a supernatural thriller involving people of color with the potential for a pansexual love triangle. Another book is what I affectionately call "what my life could have been had my father not died" and has been a cathartic and therapeutic adventure thus far. Folks are eager for me to finish this one, but my mood determines which of these two books get my attention on any given day. The other two books are for professional purposes and are reserved for that 8 to 5 time in my home office.
