It is weird that we use "worlds" as an identifier. Does anyone know what the Second World is? Note, it doesn't exist anymore. The Second World was used to describe the Former Soviet Union. The First World was the United States and our western allies. Everyone else is the Thrid World.

Now we refer to the Third World as the "Developing World." Another interesting fact is that China still refers itself as the World's richest and largest developing country. India has a problem with that designation (Ha battle of the Billions).

 

As of right now I would say my way of life is a first world problem

 

I don't have enough HDMI jacks on my TV for all of my devices and I don't want to use a splitter.

My Xbox doesn't always understand me when I say "xbox, watch NBC" and it turns to the church channel.

I can't use my phone to pay for stuff at Kroger even though thats the store I go to the most often.

 

lol I'll loan you my Kroger keycard. Can't use it, I'm two states away from my old location.

Mine is...complaining about the city I live in. Even though I lived in the actual "third world" for a year and should know better, and how good I have it compared to the BILLIONS of Chinese and Indians that @BlackguyExecutive mentions, even in "Chiraq."

 

First world problems my ass....if my internet is down, its the world's problem and the UN and NATO need to do something about it ASAP!

 

When my Bluetooth headphones say "Battery level low." and I have to end my workout and go home.

 

When it takes too long to find a new jack off worthy porn clip to stream on any of my four devices with wi-fi so I have to relay on an oldie but goodie that is saved on my hard drive on my lap top.

Buy the premium Spotify already!! Tried Pandora in 2009 at urging of coworker and hated the "What music do like?" (Chooses Janelle Monae) Pandora plays: Spice Girls.

I just pay the $12 a month to Spotify. What? It's 9.99 a month? Did I mention Chicago taxes the fuck out of EVERYTHING including streaming media and cloud storage services like Google Drive and Dropbox? (@Nick Delmacy would NOT want contract work in this city).

So, my second 1st World problem. Streaming algorithms and shitty Cook County taxes.

Although if they could combine Spotify and Patreon there are a few actual live humans I'd pay good money to curate my playlists, like you, @hannibal or @Lancer

 

This is for real, though. I have to be efficient with my time and I don't have time to be scrolling to find that video that can accomplish the deed in 5 minutes or less.

 

What about when you had two paused and ready to go,but then you finish before you get to one of the other one 'cause it was feeling good and you didn't wanna stop and click over?So much sadness and wasted potential.

 

If there's anything I'm good at,it's making playlists and red kool aid.

 

Imma take you up on that playlist offer. I often like to like to music related to a character's personality when I'm writing stories. I might need some suggestions for one of the current ones I'm writing.

You'd be suprised at things quite a number of people in the third world get up to.

The vents in my place air-out from the ceiling downstairs but from the floor upstairs and that shit pisses me off! Upstairs is like a furnace while my downstairs is like a deep freezer, I can't never get the temperatures to match.
