So my friends and I were discussing the gay term “bear”.  We laughed as we realized black homosexuals rarely if ever use this term to describe men of color.  

As we talked about the terms we used for the equivalent of “bear”, everyone had their own term they thought was appropriate and others they thought would be slightly offensive if said term was used to describe them personally.


 
It was also funny how different age groups had their own opinions.

-Not overly fat or obese
-Absolutely not skinny
-Has some size to him
-Muscular, but is not necessary “super cut up”
-Has lots, little or no body hair
