Just in case you missed it, Super Bowl Champion Brendon Ayanbadejo was on NBC’s Meet the Press to discuss Jason Collins and the changing tide towards LGBT equality.  He said something that really stood out and does prove that “times” are not the only thing that is changing but also gay stereotypical perceptions.“People think gayness has something to do with femininity.  We just need to erase that stereotype from our minds. LGBT people come in all different types and shapes and forms…

 

Yes we do!  Thank you Brendon.  The more athletes and gay allies that continue to rebuff this stereotype, the more we will all see that we are more than the caricatures that proliferate media.
