PictureCongrats to Victor Cruz on his Super Bowl Win.  At 6 feet and 205 pound, this 25 year old wide receiver had a spectacular season at 84 receiving for 1536 yards and 9 touchdowns.   From insiders and teammates they all agree that Victor has a great attitude, good natured and has a humble personality.  His star is definitely rising in sports and entertainment.

Recently Cruz signed a multi-year contract with IMG Modeling Worldwide.

“I’m very pleased to be represented by IMG,” Cruz said. “They have a great reputation around the world. They have represented some of the most iconic athletes across a myriad of sports and I am honored to be among them.”
The IMG Clients Division will represent and manage Cruz when it comes to endorsements, licensing, speaking appearances, literary opportunities and even fashion projects.

An un-drafted player out of the University of Massachusetts, Cruz made $405,000 in salary this season.  He has one year at $490,000 remaining on his rookie contract that had no signing bonus and three years of minimum salary.

Cruz’s number 80 jersey was the team’s second-best seller for the season behind Eli Manning and the 13th-best seller in the league in December, according to NFLShop.com.

Cruz of course was already gaining popularity with his salsa touch down dances (see below).  The modeling contract may be a big push for Cruz’s own clothing line Young Whales which was started with $10,000 by Cruz and a partner.

Personally I think he should drop the price a little bit on his shirts and hoodies but they are still cool and stylish.  The clothing line is somewhat already successful but with his Super Bowl win, new modeling contract and gaining celebrity status; the sky may be the limit for Victor Cruz.
