Many a nerd or comic book geek has sat back and wondered, “Who would win in a battle between Superman and Hulk”? Or “Who would win in a fight between Batman and Black Panther”? Well wonder no more. Super Power Beat Down is a series that brings live action “what if” battles to life and some of their productions are pretty good. Like who would be the winner if Wolverine of the X-Men fought a Predator? Interesting right? Well let’s find out with the mini movie directed by Aaron Schoenke and Bat in the Sun productions.

This is a no brainer. Of course Wolverine would win. He can heal whereas the Predator can’t and the predator has no real powers to do anything.
So you are suggesting “powers” determines a winner? Remember Batman has no powers.
Not necessarily Ocky Williams. Powers isn’t a determining factor in a situation like that, however, it’s a big factor nonetheless.
as for your comment, Batman has no powers, and he’s been beat numerous times by numerous heavy hitters. Please refer to the following article.

As for the actual situation. If the Predator and Wolverine just came face to face and fought, it would be more likely that the wolverine would win because of the following reasons.
1. The predator would have experience hunting humans, as such, when it would see wolverine, it would treat him as a human, and as such, employ basic human killing attacks on him (stabbing, shooting etc.) This would not work, because of Wolverine’s healing factor.
2. Wolverine’s fighting style, for beings that are his size or slightly taller than him, are pretty much the same. He rushes in and starts slashing. With wolverine having adamantium claws (one of the hardest substance in the known universe), he would have a definite advantage with piercing Predator armor.
In closing, the battle would probably go as follows.
Predator uses cloaking technology to get close to Wolverine.
Wolverine uses heightened sense of smell to know when he’s close.
Wolverine immediately slashes the predator when he gets close, killing him.
Yeah, Wolverine would win that one hands down.
Wolverine finished Jean Grey. There is little doubt that he would do away with an ugly alien with primitive rituals and explosives. And did you mention Batman? lol yes Bats is plenty crafty, but the comparisons fail in this instance.
sigh…just sad
Ok…LOL I would much whether have this debate with actual comic book readers who actually know the decades of mythology and story that has taken place since the late 70’s and 80’s vs folk who are going by what they seen in horrible Hollywood movies or knock off cartoons.
*News Flash* Wolverine can easily be killed by a non-super powered fighter. Also, Jean Grey aka Dark Phoenix can destroy galaxies. I’m done.
LMAO! now @Ocky wants to take his marbles home because the kids in the yard refuse to play by “his” rules. You are entitled to your own opinion but not your own set of facts. Wolverine’s character may have different twists and turns through the comics, but that’s not uncommon for many characters in both marvel and DC. In fact, many fans are constantly pissed off about the varying degrees of “power levels” given to super heroes based on who’s writing the comic or film. I can’t stand how Wonder Woman is shown as someone stronger than superman in the comics, yet portrayed as a weak debutante in animation.
LOL…no that’s not the case at all…I just know my shit. I am not saying Wolverine wouldn’t beat a Predator…but I am saying he is most def not invincible and there is not a cold snowball chance in hell that he could ever defeat Jean Grey in a fair fight. The Dark Phoenix could literally turn him into molecules and make him float away on the wind. Or it could choose to just destroy our solar system instead.

Ok point taken. Those X Men films were horrid so I’m not sure why I even referenced them. Dark Phoenix is indeed a force to be reckoned with. I remember when she tossed juggernaut across the planet in one of the animated episodes.
Due to Wolverine’s popularity, most fly by night comic fans for some strange reason thinks he is invincible….far from the truth. Depending on the damage received his healing factors are not always instantaneous. His claws are bones and his bones just so happened to be fused with adamantium which Magneto has once removed.

The Predator would win. They have the ability to attack while still cloaked. A relatively inexperienced Predator warrior could behead Wolverine before he even saw the attack coming.
But Wolverine can smell the predator’s musty armpits even when he’s cloaked 🙂
for a normal predator i must agree wolverine would win but not a upgrade predator or bio engineered predator
The Upgrade Predator is a product of hybridization, that is to say, his DNA is made up of many different creatures from different worlds which give him even more powerful abilities. This was the motivation behind his kidnapping of Rory McKenna, perceiving his autism as a desirable quirk rather than a disorder. Standing at 11ft, he was taller, faster, and stronger than a normal Predator and he could manipulate his body to give him a tough armored exterior. He also didn’t need a bio-helmet to have thermal vision which suggests he could have some form of implant. Unlike regular Yautja, he has bulletproof exo-skeletal skin that can reflect gunfire at close range and even shatter Wristblades that make forceful contact with his skin, thus terminating the need of extensive use of body armor during the hunt. It is revealed that he was an unnatural creation as he has taken DNA from other dangerous creatures from different corners of the galaxy and used them to alter his genetics, enhancing his size and strength in process.
His biology may not be his own doing, but the collaboration of several research-caste Yautja to create a form of super hunter of their race. Stargazer reveals that the Fugitive Predator had human DNA, meaning this hybridizing is not unique to the Upgrade Predator. Also, the Upgraded Predator had Predator hounds to assist him in the hunt similar to the Tracker on the Game Preserve Planet.
