Situational Sexual Identities. Real or Nah?

LOL learning a lot more about bisexuality. You're needed here. I spoke to my Cypher Avenue peeps offline and pretty much all of them are cool with dating bi men. They've got YEARS (over 10 +) of dating on me (I have zero lol) and they said their experiences have been positive for the most part with bi men.

I think it is possible because I know people from Cypher Avenue and just other men from Pride Center Florida who got married and had several children then adapted their actualy sexuality later in life because of fear. In the 60s and 70s, being openly bi/gay was not as easy as it is now. Especially for black men, which is who I am talking about that I met at Pride Center Florida.

 

No. As a gay man, I can fuck women (even once), admire their physical appearance, and even enjoy watching/jerking off to straight porn (because of getting off on a man fucking anything with a hole). Doing any of those things wouldn't constitute being situational hetero or situational bi.

For instance, there are gay men who are closeted or living a DL lifestyle fucking around with women. And there are some straight men who have or are doing gay porn. The physical act of having sex doesn't confirm who you are sexually/physically attracted to.

I'm pretty sure it does exist. Personally, I can't see it for myself as I don't really connect with women or at least not anymore. I can't really recall a time of being attracted to a woman, go figure.

 

Having grown up in NY during the 70's / 80's and spending my teens in Da Bronx and growing up with Correction Officer parents and eventually dating 2 myself.
I've seen more than enough evidence to lead me to believe in situational sexuality. I've also certainly participated in it myself when I was younger.
