Would Plastic Surgery Turn You Off?

I'm ok with it, if he is okay with it. It's his life and his money. Why do I care?

Deep exhale...I don't have a problem with the first set of photos...BUT this muthafukin last two sets of photos...

 

I generally encourage people to do whatever they want as long as no one gets hurt, though I admit I'd probably be slightly disappointed. I think it's just that the "I'm comfortable in my imperfect skin" or "I worked out and changed my habits to get the body I wanted" narratives just sound better than "I didn't like my body so I got plastic surgery". They first two sound admirable, the latter sounds like throwing money at a problem, which is fine. Why not use it if you have it?

I feel a little messed up about the reaction. I wouldn't chastise Ariel Winter, the 18-year-old that plays the middle child Dunphy on Modern Family, who was "blessed" by puberty and got a breast reduction because she, "...struggled with her endowment since the age of 14, claiming that her breasts 'grew overnight' and caused neck, back and spinal issues...(she) decided to go under the knife in June following years of physical and emotional stress," or Queen Latifah or women who get cut to reduce breast cancer risks. I guess the health reasons seem more justified, though if surgery improves one's mental health that may be just as meaningful.

 

If I were dating someone and found out they'd had some sort of surgical enhancement, I would most likely have treated it like I did when the clothes came off and I'd see the weird and or ugly tattoo(s).
Not to my personal preference but if it made them feel better about himself and it wasn't an addiction or something that they used to draw distracting attention toward themselves, yeah sure, why not?

 

It would be ok with me just no implants. If it looks unnatural it would be a turn off. The whole idea of plastic surgery is that its suppose to look natural. The two bottom pics clearly went to somebody's basement to get illegal injections.

Yeah. I'd prefer the guy be a little chunky and unaltered. In some cases, I'd wonder if they should've just seen a therapist to work on their body image issues. The left doesn't even look bad, and could have been turned into the right body with a personal trainer and proper diet. At least it's not as over-the-top as the butt and muscle guys.

 

I think it is fine as long as someone does not go overboard and turn themselves into a freak. Also do not like it when people get facelifts and they are barely recognizable as the same person. Either a botched job, too many lifts, or self-hate. Same with skin lightening or overtanning. Damaging and no reason for it.

 

I'm with it if he's with it, whatever makes him happy and more comfortable with himself, I'll support him through it.

If its excessive, I'd share my concerns and wishes, but it's his body and almost whatever he does with it, I'll try to support him.

 

I love guys with tummies, that's hot to me.

 

My partner could get the surgery but it depends on what area the work get done on because some people look a hot mess after the surgery.

 

I would not get any surgeries unless it was for health reasons, I am good with what I have!!!

 

If you are uncomfortable with your man boobies; eat air burgers and air fries until they diminish...

That guy has more problems than just man boobs-he is headed to an early grave. If he is not riddled with health problems now, just give it a few years. And he looks like he could chop down trees with those teeth.

 

I suppose I could be okay with someone having plastic surgery as long as it didn't look unnatural or freakish. Unfortunately many times plastic surgery does appear that way so that would be a deal breaker.

 

when it comes to surgery i am not interested in a guy who has had butt injections, if he too lazy to work out and or get a fat transfer, no thanks. Now if he had some work done on his chest or maybe even his face a little bit then i'm okay with that. also i don't even know if penis enlargements exist if they do, aren't they just as dangerous if not more than butt injections? just asking

 

Why would anyone mess with their penis like that? Why be that desperate to risk harm there? I know some guy in South America died from that operation.

Im going to jump on the opposite board here. I find plastic surgery to be a turn off. I that it's the fact that its fake. Idk. This may sound mean but I like my guys to get it naturally.

But injections are ridiculous. This issue makes my head hurt.

I think surgery is only acceptable for health reasons. Thats just my opinion.

 

Im perfectly ok w it. Women have been getting work done forever, so there shouldn't be a veil of shame on men who get work done, assuming its subtle.

And both versions of the guy in the first pic could get it.
