    One one hand I can try to live a fulfilling life as a homosexual male and face being cut off by family, kicked out of the house and my tuition cut without money or a job and fend for myself.

    On the other hand i can keep quiet and listen to all the homophobic lectures on why it's wrong, against god and nature, have a bunch of stereotypes thrown at me, be told that I will get AIDS someday, be questioned on whether I'm still pursuing the deviant "lifestyle" but maintain my life.

    I feel like I'm in a teen movie and I'm the character at that rebellious breaking point where I'm gonna start doing irresponsible things, and become the gay stereotype of an unhappy deviant who fill his life with unprotected sex and drugs to make it through the week.

    Unfortunately, you are stuck between a rock and a hard place. However, you've made it here and there are several articles on this site and on the Internet in regards to what you're facing. You also seem very much educated on your plight and how things may become if you live openly as gay.

    Many people have been in your situation and you can benefit from their stories.

    We're here to help, but what's your situation? Can you explain further?

    If this is your actual reality that you face and not what you think will happen I say wait to tell those people that can put you in this situation. In the meantime work on your support system. Start on a smaller scale, tell someone that is closest to you that you feel comfortable with like a bestfriend to get it out of your system. I told all of my closest friends before I told my family and by time I did tell my family I was able to get over that fear easier because I've had practice and I had many people in my life that supported me. I'm not saying this is a perfect way to do it but it helped me and others that I know. One thing I'm confused about is why would you hear homophobic lectures and be stereotype if these people don't know about you?

    I guess i have that one good friend, but they obviously don't want to hear the depths of my gay thoughts lol. I'm working on expanding my circle to more supportve people and closing off ro the negative ones.
