    PlayStation 4 Hits 50 Million Units Sold - IGN

    Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that the PlayStation 4 has now surpassed 50 million units sold as of December 6.

    The company also stated it had the best Black Friday week in the history of PlayStation, and says "software sales also remain strong" with over 369.6 million games sold as of December 4.

    The PS4 was first released in November 2013, and more recently, the PS4 Pro has become available.

    PlayStation VR also released this year, bringing virtual reality games to the platform. IGN's review says "the technology is astonishing but still in its infancy."

    PlayStation exclusive games include the likes of Uncharted, Until Dawn, and The Last Guardian, which finally came out this week after 10 years in development. Sony recently held the PlayStation Experience event, where we saw glimpses of all the upcoming games to the console, including The Last of Us Part II.

    The way things are looking i may be sitting the PS4 out until the price is 200. Lol I want to build a gaming PC but I do want to try the exclusives.

    I agree which is why I jumped on a Black Friday deal at Target for $201.99 with the Uncharted 4 game included.

    After looking at graphics comparisons on YouTube with the Ultra PC settings vs PS4 & Xbox One, I was tempted to go the Gaming PC route too...Def a more expensive option than a $200 PS4, tho...The graphics card alone would be around $400-$650.

    See you are trying to do Top 'o The Line while I'm trying to be on a $600 max budget. I just need 1080P 60 FPS gaming. Lol I'm not sure I'll be dedicated to a full on gaming pc so my requirements are modest.
