    How do you deal? After a blow to your ego, what do you do? Is coping with it hard for you? Or can you immediately move on after taking your time trying to get to know someone? What advice or insight would you give?

    In my opinion this is to be expected when you put yourself out there. When it comes to the age issue, I have meet dudes both younger and older that have wasted my time and also on both ends that have also been worth it. You learn from each date you go on and also leave room for the occasional 'give it a shoot'. In dealing with blows to my ego, I usually spend time by myself or hang out with friends and let it pass by. In 2-3 days I am out again on the hunt...lol

    This is why I really don't deal too much with people. I refuse to have my time wasted like that. I could be stacking millions or helping the world in a productive way versus playing with peasants. nope, not for me!

    Well if you want to date and be in a relationship these are the things you just have to go through. They are not exclusive to you. I have been rejected many times. I meet up with a guy recently for coffee and after I shook his hand and asked him how his day was, he simply blurted out 'Sorry I am not feeling you' and said we should call it a day. I was very stunned that within less than 2 min he said that while we had been talking on the apps. Did I feel hurt? yes I did, would I stop putting myself out there? HELLO NO!
    You are not staking millions or helping the world in a productive way yet. Now you are dating and its all part of the process. Take as much time as you need, brush off your shoulder, BEAT your face up to the Gawd's and get to Slaying!

    I get where you're going with this. It's just not for me. I may not be stacking millions right now, but best believe-- I'm on the way there. I am also currently doing my part to make the world a more habitable environment for all its inhabitants. I applaud you on your efforts to take control of your destiny, however we each have our own way of arriving at our destined finish line. I can't run your race for you, and neither can you run mine.
