Something I've Noticed

To be honest, I think some will go for white guys who would be below the black guys they reject... Some-not all.

 

Any specifics or examples? Because I have seen and even known black guys who have dated both and the guys they dated besides race were VERY different.

 

@Omega Level Visit Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, San Diego, etc. and you can experience the craziness firsthand. Many Black guys have no problem telling you straight up that they "...don't do chocolate."

 

@Sean P Yeah I know of those black guys that "don't do chocolate" for whatever reason. A lot of it ignorant reasons. But I was interested in the white guys and black guys that are the "same" as expressed in this post. I have seen black guys date white guys and the white guys are indeed VERY different from many black guys i.e. certain interest, taste, style, professions, etc.

 

The post just reads some black guys would want other black guys to have certain criteria but the white guys didn't need the criteria. I just found that statement interesting but couldn't directly think of any examples. For instance, if a black guy is a stickler about a certain living standard he would like another black guy to have, I don't see how he would let the white guy be a bum and not have that living standard but its ok because he's white. Usually they would go with the white guy because they fit the "standard" they want.

 

@Omega Level I am talking holistically, a pairing of equals and/or smiting a Brotha for a white scrub. I am a lawyer and have been interested in Brothas who won't date me or any other Black man. Yet, they will date a chronically unemployed/underemployed white guy. I've seen it happen time and again. #thestruggleisreal

 

Wow @[354:@Sean P] . I understand and will take your word for it if you have direct experience. I can't imagine turning down a black lawyer for white unemployed scrub just because he's white. I just never heard or been around such people. The black guys I have known that dated white guys, those white guys were wealthy, professional, had condos and shit lol. It was pretty obvious why they were sought after. I just never knew black men who wanted a white dude no matter what, even if they were bums. Thats an eye opener for me

 

Yep... @Omega Level I have far too much direct experience with this situation. I've learned that it really isn't about me. It took time to accept. It's all good now, especially since I've chosen to be on the sidelines and live vicariously through others at this point.

 

I should put some positive spin on my posts. When I'm at my place in Atlanta, I've only had to deal with the normal BS from Brothas. They'd talk a good game, but crazy often lurked really close to the surface. I'd take that over being invisible to folks who look like me, however.

 

Thats a good point. Those black guys are mostly into white and "other" race guys anyway.

However they would also state that many black gay guys didn't have the same income or living standard that they had and the ones that did, they were not attracted to. The pool of successful white men that fit their "standard" and were attractive was larger. And I am talking about New York BTW. These guys I am certain are not into a white guys at any cost i.e. a homeless white guy, drag queen white guy, fat white guy etc.

I guess we just have different experiences with this, but I definitely see your point.

 

I will admit, when I look online at black/white interracial couples, I usually think the black guy...is...well...hotter than the white one. Same in porn. You see black guys and think 'why isn't the white guy on the same level?' And that is just looks and not even considering the other things. Sometimes you will see some that look 'matched' well like that Shawn T and his guy, but usually (at least superficially) it looks kinda like a 'mismatch'.

I won't go into the 'whys' cause I really don't know enough about it. But I can make some educated guesses though.

This whole post is kinda BS.... @Champagne_Papi has admitted REPEATEDLY on this site that he don't want no gay nikka long term. Why the fuk he all a sudden so concerned about the preference of randoms and hookups?
