    I heard about a similar situation on NPR.

    I heard “that sounds like an excellent idea.” the first time but the subsequent times I heard “that’s a fucking excellent idea!”....crazy

    Power of Suggestion is a bitch!

    It’s the psychology that intrigues me. The fact that I can make my brain clearly hear something that’s NOT being said is fascinating. It’s more intriguing than when those holy rollers used to claim that playing Queen’s “Another One Bites The Dust” is really saying “it’s fun to smoke marijuana” backwards. Or when people swore Aaron Hall said “dumb bitch” at the end of Guy’s “Piece of My Love” (neither was true).

    It’s like when people can “hear” sounds that aren’t there in real life:
