    So I recently went and had a drinks with a male coworker recently. I ordered a Moscow Mule and he ordered a Honeydew Swirl (a martini).

    Mind you, this dude is pretty masculine so it totally caught me off guard. I do not want to say that I was judging but I was judging for sure. I'm pretty much a whiskey or beer guy. What are you guys' drinks of choice?

    I don't drink anymore, but I did enjoy vodka, cognac, and gin mostly. All neat.

    Was at work from 10am to 10pm tonight....cracked open a bottle of clear rum the minute I got home. If its not rum it's vodka...I can do all shades except Gin though, that shit is gross. I only drink whiskey straight. My last dude used to ONLY drink Manhattans. Was a cool novelty at first then he got annoying with asking for it even at dive bars. One time they put it in a girly glass b/c they said its not a very manly drink. #OnTheLow #IAgree

    I hate liquor honestly...I am all beer at the bar, wine at home.

    For beer, any IPA will do. No preference, but Fremont IPA(local microbrew) is pretty cool.

    Wine -> Red -> Cabernet Sauvignon.

    I'm all about Crown and it's different variations (except maple, can't do that anymore...long story) and Hennessy. I mix my crown with a little ginger ale (preferably ginger beer) or sprite, and I like my Hennessy with apple juice or ginger ale as well.

    I can do other whiskeys or courvoisier's , but I prefer Crown & Henny. I also started liking beer in grad school (my classmates were experts) and while I was oversee, I prefer blondes. And I like wine too, but only white, haven't found a red I like yet. I don't like too dry of a wine so I stick with a drier Riesling or a Sauvignon Blanc. I drunk a TON of wine when I lived in France lol.

    I just got back from Ireland and they had nothing good to say about Jack lol. One gem they said was "It's only acceptable to mix with whiskey with water. The only thing you mix with coke is Jack."

    You could try, if you haven't, red wine from the Chianti region. Brunello di Montelcino is also quite good. A Merlot is always a good starting point for me...and of course, Romanee Contee and chateau Petrus, for the splurge moments, otherwise a chateauneuf du pape.

    Are any of those dry? That's the main reason I don't drink reds, I don't like an extremely dry wine.

    I'm not a drinker. However, if I happen to go out somewhere, I'll do any type of drink that has lemonade in it or opt for lemonade and vodka.....FANTASTIC!

    Red wine (Pinot noir, Malbec, etc) is my go to now that I've cut back on the hard liquor and beer (still love an IPA)

    Not much into drinking however if I am out with friends I will just order a Cider, preferably Kopparberg or one of the Old Mout Cider's, or any sweet Cocktail.
