There's a point in life where your maturity and experience has to actually be applied. If you know better, you're expected to do better.

Not trying to blast you but you hear people say "I got caught up/one thing led to another" etc and that's how things go south. We all know when something has the potential to lead to Adult Situations and sometimes you just have to get yourself out of them or not even put yourself in the position in the first place.

Use this as a learning tool.

 

Yup, like @Ockydub I was in my {early} 20's and still relatively new to all this BS. Me and dude actually f#$ked, tho. LOL But, the scorned party came out with the last laugh in the end because homeboy turned out to be a f#$kin P-S-Y-C-H-O LOL! You live and you learn.

 

No, can't say that I have.... I don't know.....I think I'd just let both guys know the situation and let the chips lay where they fall.

 

I guess I'd be disappointed if I were your friend in this scenario, but part of me feels like people can't really call dibs on other people. When someone is "talking to" someone and meets their friends and acquaintances, it's possible that they could feel a similar or stronger attraction or connection with one of them. It can just get kinda messy if they follow through with "talking to" different members of someone's circle like that. I'm not advocating that people should disregard others' relationship statuses and say, "What's your man got to do with me?" when considering being with them but, I don't know, sometimes people connect with others in messy or complicated situations.
