Are You A Morning Person?

    This is me almost every day:

    No matter what, I just find it super hard to crawl outta bed super early in the morning. I'm a night owl through and through. Even if I go to bed at 9pm-10pm, I end up waking up around 2am or 3am, hours before my target time of 6am to 7am.

    lol I can go either way but I notice I'm productive if I wake up by at least 6am. I prefer to get things done sooner rather than later so I would say I'm more of a morning person. I have trouble falling asleep (can take everywhere from 30min to an hour..) so I try to get to bed early, but once I'm up, I'm up.

    I wake up every morning by 5:30am (no later than 6am). I am up on the weekdays by 5:30am to workout by 6am then after doing my 30 minute to 45 minute workout consisting of HIIT, resistance/weight training and/or cardio, I go about my day with studying and anything else I need to do. Then I sleep by 11pm (no later than 11:30am). I find that I accomplish more waking up earlier. I am cool with waking up early because I will have to do that for my future job(s) anyway.

    I'm a early to bed, early to rise kind of guy. I generally go to be around 10 and wake up no later than 6:30 AM. I find myself to be more productive with the early rise. I generally only make exceptions for like outings or things with friends.

    Yeah. I'm not a morning person either. I'm a creative and my belief is that we truly aren't meant to wake up before 9-10am. ;)

    Lol well, history and ones own body might disagree. Even though we are in the 21st century, the body doesn't know that, still making it a relatively primal thing. So, the ways of the 21st centuy can throw the body out of whack very easily, including sleeping and waking up late.

    That's one thing I need to get better at. Making time for people because I will be so rigid with my sleep schedule

    Mornings need to be abolished.I've always been a night person,even when I was really little I'd always be up late.I usualyl dont even get to sleep til 4 or 5am (if at all) so anytime I'm up in the morning I'm usually pissed off with time and the daylight.

    Yeah I'm not a morning person at all. I prefer to stay up late and wake up late. I recently started drinking coffee in the morning, which helps a little bit. I have gotten to the point where if I do not have coffee I'm like

    I don't drink coffee on days that I am off though because I usually sleep in until 9ish. I'm usually good after that.

    Always have functioned best as an early riser. When I got to college I tried to prove that I could hang late but I would usually crash mid-day the next day from the lack of sleep. My body alarm clock goes off usually around 5:30/6am unless I am DOG tired and I have missed a lot of sleep up to a certain point.

    Not really a morning person, I'm too much of a night owl. However, If I am not sleeping alone, I do love to half-wake up, roll over and start having that sleepymorning sex.

    I guess I am the resident early riser. I have always been that way. I am the type of person that likes to take my time in the morning. Drink a cup of coffee, read a newspaper headline or two (via the internet of course), let my dogs out and ease into the morning in preparation before I go to work.

    No! I'm not really a morning person at all. However, my sleeping schedule is crazy because I have so many commitments. I work overnight on the weekends, have school later during the week and other things during the day. I sleep when I can! Don't know if that's an answer but...

    YES! I LOOOOOVE the morning time! Ever since I was like 13 or 14 I always preferred to wake up early in the morning. Sometimes I really love being the only person up in the morning, especially when I used to be around my cousins at my grandma's house or just my two sisters and I when we used to live with our mom. Being that I had to go to school and now work in the morning time, I really just enjoy my days off waking up early and just being at home taking in the morning feeling. At one point, back in 2003, when I was a teenager, I used to love waking up like 6 or 7 in the morning, and I really enjoyed that lol! Even though I don't like waking up THAT early, I do HATE waking up after 9 o'clock. That's just some type of formula I've made up in my head over the years. Now mind you, I ONLY like waking up on my own time, ON MY DAYS OFF! I HATE getting up early for work because, well, I gotta go to work. It's just only when I'm off when I really enjoy the mornings. But I have to admit. I like working in the mornings to because I like to get my work days out of the way. Yay to mornings, and my phone and/or tablet of course!

SO I looked up one picture and I clicked view more. And then I see this picture and I'm like "........YO THIS DUDE LOOKS JUUUUUUST LIKE ME WTF?!??!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?

    I ABSOLUTELY ABHOR and HATE my mornings. Truth be told, it seems like everyone at my company is a morning person(compared to other neighboring companies like Amazon and Microsoft were I heard ppl get in around 11am :whut:)
    so I had to adapt and learn to wake up earlier.

    I drag myself out bed every morning at 0630am and proceed to drink copious amounts coffee. I actually found out that 7am is the best time for me to wake up. I am in the zone at work anywhere between 08am -12pm. I get tons of shit done during that period. Even though I hate mornings, I tracked my productivity over a period of 3 months and found out that my flow moment is during the morning hours.

    So, I deducted that it might have something to do with my bedtime. I usually take a long time to go to bed and end up some times going in up to 1am, which isn't good for the longterm. I am now working on that. If I can get my bedtime to 1030-1130pm time frame, that would be perfect.

    I'm a morning person.

    I can get so much done when I first wake up and it's quiet. Now that my work shift is now mid morning to evening, I'm loving it. I can get to the gym after the 8-5 shift leaves which makes it more efficient for me since I don't have to wait, traffic is easier to get to and from work. It is awesome!

    I have a hard time sleeping when there is light outside. I used to have to work nights a few times a year at a previous job and I blacked out all my windows to block the light. It was the only way I could stay asleep.

    Am I the only person who finds it problematic that all these Type-A successful people proclaims themselves as early risers( I wake up at 04am to work out, I do yoga at 5am, I am writing my novel at 6am nyenyenye ugh lol)

    Like, I am sure there are plenty of night owls who are hugely successful(see President Obama) , so enough of the self-righteousness and self-absorption.

    No, I'm not a morning person. I hate waking up early, always have. I'm usually very grumpy and irritable in the morning after I wake up, which is usually between 7:30am and 8:30am. I have to have at least 2 cups of coffee before I can function. People who are happy and cheerful in the morning really piss me off.

    If I can uninstall facebook and hacker news from
    Sleep Time by Azumio app + 5000 IUs of Vitamin D + 1500 mg of Omega-3 + 20 min jog or exercise in the morning. This helped me a lot, try it...

    5 - 7 am, though occasionally I'm not asleep by then. I can be a night owl but I tend to be less productive as the day passes, so it's best I address matters earlier in the day.

    Before my work schedule changed I used to get up at 5am lift weights, then go to work. I still hated getting up early. Now my gym time is after work. +1 Omega 3s and multivitamins since I started taking them I feel better.
