First magazines, then tapes, then DVD's. When a teen, I found out that not only did both of my brother's have porn stashes, but so did my dad, and my mom had Playgirls hidden as well. I guess I come from a family of perverts. But it was the 70's and all... Also during middle school friends of mine already had their own porn stashes. Unbelievable things happened during the seventies in what appeared to be respectable suburban communities. All was not like it seemed.

My dad favored that 'Swedish Erotica' hardcore stuff. One brother favored Hustler, the other for some reason had mostly Penthouse.

I found my first gay porn mags at the Main OSU library as a freshman in college. I found a whole pile of BlueBoy mags up in the 'stacks' there. I was so paranoid about having them(of course I took them) that when I left the library with them my heart was pounding and I was certain it was some kind of a trap and that some alarm was going to go off and I was going to be 'apprehended' or something. hahaha.

Once I hit 10-11yo it was basically scrambled Cable, until I discovered Cinemax after 12am LOL!! But the real jackpot was the rare and random "Hustler" magazine me and my friends would find that one of the neighborhood boys had left in the woods (we played in the woods a lot). That would be passed around between us from day to day until it was too worn out for use. LOL Then for a good few years it was either my imagination or I would just draw my own porn (I'm a very good artist). By the time I headed off to the military, finished BASIC/AIT and got to Bragg ('96), it was VCR Tapes and the occasional magazine.

 

I have to amend mine. I forgot all about this QUBE - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia And the last channel of the 30(three rows of ten) was p10(p was for premium, which you had to pay as you watched that last row) which was the porn channel. when you pushed the button down just partway the channel came on without the light coming on(and you being charged for it). Everyone learned how to cheat and get it free, some using a paperclip, etc. (my neighbor used a ketchup bottle at just the right angle laying on the button to make it click over to the porn, but not light up the console.

So yeah I saw porn on TV at the beginning of 1978.

*one time I did mess it up without knowing and my parents got a bill for $78.00 or so that month for multiple movies watched. Fortunately the listings they for that month did not match up with the billing statement, and my parents successfully fought the bill. And yeah of course I lied and said I did not watch any of them.

Strangely I think I watch it more now than I did when I was younger. In college though...whew..those first two years in the dorms, every time my roommate left the room...

 

Yes, scrambled signal was a "go-to" for trying to spend a moment trying to figure out if it was a boob or knee. There wasn't much dick showing back then when you were watching scrambled playboy. I think that scrambled channel was called the Spice Channel. And unlike playboy, they showed everything. I would know-lol.

I was restricted from watching a lot of stuff. One of those was the movie Jason's Lyric. I put a lot of mileage on that movie-lol. Although, that gremlin looking nikka at the end of the movie captured the most of my attention.

We had a computer and Internet since the late 80's in my house. I remember it like yesterday in 6th grade typing in "men.com" in Aol search. That bought in a whole new ball game.
