"Adult" Parties??

I've been to the sort in my 20's back in the day. If you never been to one before, I say go ahead. Live a little.

If you single as fuck, nothing wrong with checking it out and having a little fun. Disclaimer tho, dont expect too many high quality dudes. It may be a decent looking guy there or two, but that kinda scene is mostly over run with out of shape queens and older nasty men. But maybe it's different these days.

I would like to go to one, just to see how it is. I will just be a like a voyeur thing.

 

I used to think Id like to go to be a voyeur, but nah. Cus Im definitely judging you. And you're an asshole to go somewhere just to watch and judge ppl.

I just can't wrap my mind around how easily and casually guys go to have sex w multiple strangers (potentially) but can have a hard time functioning in the same room, w the same ppl, w the sex removed.

 

i've always wanted to go as a bucket list item. my boy used to go off and on. when i asked him to take me, he said no cause i was too vanilla and would spoil the fun lol

my main issue is that i work in education. they do background checks often in my line of work. arent these parties illegal? if i were to get busted, my career would be over.

 

They are considered private gatherings. No one's paying any one directly so it's not prostitution. I think the money goes to the host providing the space security, and facilitating. From my understanding phones are forbidden and some provide masks. I don't think many people are tryna publicize they frequent the sex party circuit or go to the hookup spots.

 

When I first came out, I thought it might be cool to try, but my inner self is too left brain with questions; who’s been tested, whose filming, will I sprain or break something...and of course with all dat activity...

Real talk. A few years ago i went to one, my first one. As i was arriving, i saw police cars and an ambulance at the building. Someone passed out inside. After talking to the buddy who invited me, a guy overdosed and died. True story. Atlanta.

 

Wow. It'd be one thing to decide not to go and hear about it the next day, but that's some shit to pull up on.

2. His family probably had no idea he was even gay, on drugs, or even down with the adult party scene.

That’s why modern, mainstream “Pride” events are, ultimately, so hollow to me. Whether we want to admit it or not, pride is just as much about who we fuck as it is about who we are.

So, the whole respectable, corporate “We Brake For Rainbows” parade and sponsorship thing that is all good (being able to serve, hold a job, live where you want despite your orientation) but ultimately what makes us gay/bi is who we want to smash (male/male, female/female).

Seeing the invites that @African King posted reminded me of the dichotomies of “public respectability politics” and sexuality as it’s actually lived. Although the flyers were tacky (nothing left for style, design, and the erotic imagination), ultimately, I have no problem with the reality that pride events eventually lead to literal clusterfucks (just ditch the drugs and play safe).

 

This is so deep. I never thought of it like this before. But it makes u sit back and say - damn! So true.

Honestly I think this starts early. Like if you ask some grade school boys how their days went you'll get "Good."

We're not encouraged to express our feelings and emotions.

I think when it comes to sex parties, things get primitive and emotions are not taken into consideration..it's about the nutt and feeling good. No one's worried about consequences.

 

Idk man. I guess because verbal comm is hard/awkward for a lot of ppl. 'Small talk' isn't always easy. I know that sex is much easier for a lot of people than having a conversation. Some ppl feel vulnerable naked, and some when they're trying to verbally communicate. That said, let's not pretend like comfort in one of those areas isn't more encouraged than the other when it comes to gay men. It's why we have threads talking about how we tire of entering circles of gay men where the goto move is to shade someone instead of just having a conversation. Which brings me back to my point...

It just trips me out that if you clothe those same men in that same room, you'll have a bunch of wall flowers holding drinks w their faces buried deep in their phones. But the minute you remove the clothes, and someone drops to their knees, everyone's now interacting.

Mofos will chance walking around w gonorrhea (or worse) in their throat before opening those same mouths to have a convo w a guy standing next to them.

 

Yeah. Again. So true. But this is gay culture. You’re either going to get the gonorrhea in your throat at the sex party or you going to get that same strain of gonorrhea In your throat 45 minutes later when you go to his house to give them head anyway. or when he gives it to u.

Some say let’s eliminate the middleman. Also when you think about it, we’re not true with ourselves. Most men don’t want small talk, the getting to know people, etc. If that was the case they would do it. They want to screw! That’s it. and the grapefruit from Girl’s Trip. Lol.

 

True. For many. But Id just rather not get any strain of gonomydherpilis. They keep talking about these super strains that are raging in the gay community from treating sex like hand shakes. Hell, there are mofos who don't shake hands and only dap, but will suck on them dicks every hour on the hour. Lol

Nah for real. Im not advocating to go prude like me, or knocking sex positivity. I too enjoy some ho shyt (in a klassy way of course). Ijs. I personally, don't understand the EASE and COMFORT w which ppl CONSTANTLY have random sex with strangers.

 

Yeah I think it's "different" from hooking up with one single person from the club or Jakdr or whatever. Both strangers but when it's a whole room of multiple people. At the club you'll at least get a name and have had some form of conversation so if you do get sylpmedyais you got someone to track it back to. Not saying you're not having conversations at the sex party but I don't think exchanging contact info is top of mind there. Granted, you could have sex with one, multiple people or none but still. I'm guessing that there's no promise that you'll be into anyone at a sex party and vice versa so there's that.

 

Well I've only been to two. The first one was boring af. Everybody jus standing around being wallflowers or only interacting with the guys they came with. Then towards the end this group of guys came in and it got a little more interesting. They was banging out this one set of bottoms it was dope to watch plus I'm voyeuristic. I didnt get any that night tho.

The second one was wild though they had one room that was completely black and the sounds coming from it were on some eyes wide shut type shit lol. The dudes were definitely more interactive at this one and I even had my share of fun.

I went to break out my shell and get more comfortable in my own skin plus I was curious. Will I go again? Maybe but I can cross it off my bucket list and be totally fine not to. We as men aren't taught to socialize verbally and more so sexually. Pair that with the fact we attracted to each other and of course we're gonna be more comfortable smashing than talking. And let's be honest ya'll alot of dudes out here are TERRIBLE at small talk anyway so why not smash and be done it's all some dudes is good for. I don't have a problem trying to hold a convo with a guy but I ain't a dentist so I'm not going to pull teeth either.

 

In theory it sounds exciting, but in practice nah.
Can you imagine the smell at a party like this?!?!?!
