I say this abt NY ALL THE DAMN TIME. Ppl assume big city means big opportunities, but the blk gay visibility/presence in ny pales in comparison to a place like atl.

 

Kinda the same shi!t here in NYC. To @Nick Delmacy 's point, yeah, Gay Masc dudes buy groceries, go to the gym, go to Barnes & Noble, buy pet food, probably even work in the building with me, but you'de rarely know because we all give each other the "Ice Grill". The dudes that do visually express interest, are (at least for me) generally not what I'm lookin' for. LOL

 

I'm not saying its easy, I'm saying it's probably easier if black people are your aim. Yeah black dudes do all that, but they give you that "how dare you approach me" kind of look. Unlike the gay black mecca that Atlanta is known to be, LA has no main black scene like that. So many people I've known have moved to Atlanta because of it. Even I've contemplated moving there as well.
